Welcome to the website for the MIT Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta!

Our chapter was founded in 1991 and consists of approximately 130 women who have all found a home in Kappa Alpha Theta.

We pride ourselves on being a values-based organization of unique and passionate women, each of whom consider Theta a home-away-from-home at MIT. Since our chapter's founding more than 20 years ago, our sisters have been incredibly involved on the MIT campus and beyond. Whether they're excelling in the classroom, volunteering around Boston, or serving as leaders within their community, Thetas are everywhere. We are involved in athletics, research, activism, and the arts. We are engineers, humanities scholars, and scientists. We are more diverse and balanced than I could possibly describe, and we are genuinely down-to-earth. Above all, we are a thriving community, united by the bonds of Theta sisterhood.

We invite you to explore our website and learn about the amazing women of Kappa Alpha Theta here at MIT.

Theta Love and Mine,
Carol Davis

thetakite3 Why are some girls' faces covered up by these kites?
These girls are Panhellenic Recruitment Counselors, otherwise known as Pi Rho Chis (PRCs), for Recruitment 2012. Each PRC is an unbiased, disaffiliated sorority member who is ready to discuss and answer questions about recruitment or sororities in general. She is there to act as a counselor, advisor, and friend to potential new members.
